Dr. Patrick Asks some important questions of interest to Olney residents - Chiropractor Olney Dr. Patrick Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What controls your pulse, blood pressure and cholesterol?
Conventional health care focuses on the various aspects of your blood. But these are merely effects. Chiropractic focuses on the integrity of your nervous system that controls, regulates and monitors every aspect of your circulatory system, every aspect of your body and every person in Olney.

What to Expect

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

If you have ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance. We've found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you'll enjoy. It's as simple as that.

The purpose of your first visit is to find out if we can help you, ask questions with a detailed health history, complete computerized nervous system evaluation, range of motion, postural examination, muscle testing and Orthopedic/Neurological examination. Also necessary diagnostic imaging (x-rays) examination.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

The purpose of your second visit is to report what we found and answer all your questions.

A typical office visit will be much shorter, but just as important.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.
